Doctor Who: Wetworld

Wetworld

On the human colony world of Sunday, something strange is happening.... A massive flood has devastated the settlement, something sinister is stirring in the swamps, and the native otters are behaving very strangely.
In search of help, the Doctor has to abandon Martha in the TARDIS - but even the TARDIS isn't the safe-haven that the Doctor hopes. And as the time-travellers battle to save the colonists, they realise that human intelligence could be the greatest threat of all.
Following on from the huge success of the relaunched TV series in 2005, the Beeb decided to put out some new Doctor Who novels - two chunks of three books per year. In November 2006, Justin Richards, the range consultant for the books, emailed me to ask if I'd be interested in writing one - it took me all of three seconds to say 'Yes!' and Wetworld is the result. Published on September 6th 2007, and available from all good booksellers (as they say) and just about every supermarket around - so you can't use the 'I couldn't find it anywhere!' excuse for not buying it!
