Magazine article: The Happiness Patrol

Someone must have liked the article I did for the Complete First Doctor magazine published in mid-March 2004, since they asked me to do another one for them - this time for The Happiness Patrol in the more controversial (ie lots of people said it was crap!) Seventh Doctor's era, in which Sylvester McCoy played the Time Lord. The brief for this one - clearly, the editors knew that it would be rather easy to just slag the whole era off altogether - was to be as positive as possible about the stories. Um. After re-watching The Happiness Patrol, I wondered just how I was going to do it.... The story did have lots of positives, but, alas, a lot of negatives, too. You'll just have to go and buy it to find out how I managed it!
